Q: What is the difference between single and double occupancy?

Single Occupancy means that only one person will be staying in the room. The rate is based on one individual’s use of the room, and no additional guests are expected. Double Occupancy means that two people will be sharing the room. Please note that our policy does not involve arranging or assigning roommates for individual travelers. Double Occupancy is for family or friends wanting to share a room, and each tour participant must purchase a tour package.

What Are K-Drama Tours?

K-Drama tours are guided trips that take fans to the real-life filming locations behind popular Korean dramas across Seoul and South Korea. These include palaces, cafes, coastal towns, and neighborhood sets from shows like Goblin, Lovely Runner, and Hometown Cha Cha Cha.

Noona’s Noonchi’s K-Drama tours go a step further than standard filming-location sightseeing. Every stop is paired with guided mindfulness and healing sessions led by a licensed therapist, so you leave with more than photos.

The tours run for approx. 7 nights / 8 days, with small groups of up to 20. Each tour is led personally by founder Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT.

Meet Jeanie Y. Chang

Mental Health Expert and Licensed Therapist

Every healing tour is personally led by Jeanie Y. Chang. Jeanie is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified clinical trauma professional. She has spent years helping people heal through mental health education. In 2023, she brought that experience to S. Korea and started Noona’s Noonchi Tours. Since then, more than 250 travellers from around the world have joined her.

Jeanie has written a bestselling book How K-Dramas Can Transform Your Life. She has spoken at TEDx and worked with brands like Google and the NFL. But on tour, she wears one hat: your mental health expert. She leads every wellness session herself. She wants you to leave S. Korea with more than photos. She wants you to leave with real healing.

Our Story: The Original K-Drama Healing Tour

We started this journey in 2023. We were the first company to introduce K-Drama tourism and turn it into a true healing experience. Since then, more than 250 travellers from around the world have joined us in S. Korea.

What's included in a K-Drama & K-Pop healing tour?

Every tour includes guided visits to real filming locations, live wellness sessions, mindfulness meditation, guided group deep-dives, and mental health workshops, all across a 7-night / 8-day small-group itinerary.

How many people are on each tour, and is it suitable for solo travellers?

Tours are capped at 20 travellers, ages 19 and up. Some guests come alone, some come with a parent, partner, or best friend - all leave as part of a bigger community.

Can I request to share a room with a friend?

Yes. Once payments are made, please email nntours@noonasnoonchi.com with the following details: Your names, email addresses, tour dates, and your intention to share a room. Upon receiving your email, we will assign you and your friend to the same room.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

All tour reservations are fully refundable if you cancel within 7 days of booking. If you cancel after 7 days but at least 45 days before your tour, we will refund 50% of your payment. Cancellations made within 45 days of the tour are non-refundable.
If we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, we will provide a full refund of your purchase price. We cannot provide refunds if you choose not to participate in any part of the tour.
Note: We apply a processing fee to all cancellations.

Do I need a visa or K-ETA to travel to South Korea?

On December 11, 2024, the Republic of Korea extended the K-ETA exemption for U.S. citizens visiting Korea for up to 90 days for business or tourism through December 31, 2025.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, please check with the Korean embassy or consulate in your country for the latest visa and entry requirements before traveling.

Will there be mental health or wellness sessions on the tour?

Yes, every tour includes live wellness sessions, mindfulness meditation, guided group deep-dives, and mental health workshops, led personally by Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes, let us know in advance, and we do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements throughout the trip.
